British Airways Data Science Internship

Project Summary: Performed web scraping to analyze customer review data and gain company insights. This involved using Python to scrape the data from various websites, cleaning and preparing the data, and performing data analysis to identify trends and insights. Built a predictive model to understand factors that influence customer buying behavior by training a machine learning model using Python based on historical data, and then using the model to predict future customer behavior.

 

Role: Data Scientist

 

Value Outcome: The results of my work were used by British Airways to improve its customer experience and increase revenue. For example, my findings from the customer review analysis were used to identify areas where the company could improve its service, which increased customer satisfaction. My predictive model was used to identify customers who were most likely to book a flight, increasing revenue.
