Project Summary: Analyzed account performance metrics and sales trends for the 5-year period between 2017 and 2023 to identify areas for improvement. Calculated the following metrics:
Top and bottom performing accounts, Sales growth year over year, Account types selling more units than others, The year with the highest volume sales, and the Total unit sales till date. Created data visualizations to communicate the findings to senior management, sales and marketing teams, and account managers.
Role: Data Science Intern
Value Outcome: Increased sales and revenue by focusing on high-performing accounts, analyzing/optimizing sales trends, and diversifying sales channels, JP Morgan can expect to increase sales and revenue in the long term. Reduced risk by diversifying sales channels and reducing dependence on a single source, JP Morgan can reduce the risk of a significant sales drop in the future. Improved customer satisfaction by investing in targeted marketing campaigns and addressing customer feedback promptly, JP Morgan can improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. More efficient resource allocation by developing comprehensive sales plans and monitoring performance regularly, JP Morgan can allocate resources more strategically and efficiently.
